Op zaterdag 28 augustus staat Bandito namens Gelderland in de finale van de SENA Pop Awards. 3VOOR12/Arnhem-Nijmegen en de leden van Bandito blikken alvast vooruit op die belangrijke dag.
Door jullie overwinningen op achtereenvolgens de Roos van Nijmegen en de Gesel van Gelderland vorig jaar staan jullie nu in de finale van de SENA Pop Awards, een showcase voor een 'jury' van programmeurs met competitie-element. Zijn jullie de bandcompetities nog niet moe?
Om eerlijk te zijn wel een beetje, hoewel deze wedstrijd wel de meest eerlijke jury heeft die je je kunt indenken. Programmeurs uit het hele land zijn toch de mensen die we willen overtuigen van ons kunnen en daar is deze show een geweldige kans voor. Verder proberen we het vooral niet als een wedstrijd te zien, maar als een kans om in een van de mooiste zalen van Nederland te spelen.

Bandito's back!
Hi, everyone! As the title suggest, we're back on track and still very much alive. It's been some time since our mohawked master of mayhem ''TommyGun McKillington'' got back from his time abroad, and we've played some great shows since! During the next couple of weeks we'll be playing some more shows, and mostly writing and revising songs (which WILL be killer).
We've got some more good news! We've been selected for the 'Popronde', a travelling festival taking us all over Holland to play like a gazillion shows! So keep checking http://www.popronde2010.nl/ or this myspace-page from time to time to find out when Bandito will bring the noizz to ur hood!
Do not forget (!!!) we'll be playing at the SENA PopNL-awards at the Melkweg, Amsterdam on the 28th of August. We've organised a pre-party in Merleyn, Nijmegen on the 16th of July where our friends of Soulburn and Overgrown will be playing. Note that we are not playing that night, but the bustickets to our show in de Melkweg will be on sale that night. So please come out to see two great bands, get your bus ticket and/or get wasted and 'struukduuk' uncontrollably. (for our foreign friends: this is when a person leaps into bushes knowing he'll get hurt, but generally not giving a crap)

| As you may or may not know, our six-string shaman T-gun is going on a field trip to Guatemala for the next few weeks. This means we will not be playing any shows in the months of February and March. Not to worry, the remaining Bandito-members will use this time properly to build some new groove-machines an we'll be ready to kick ass on stage again before you can say 'pap' (which will be in the end of April) hopefully with some new songs!
This means our show next Saturday at de Dolle Tol in Den Bosch (w. Dead Stiff) will be the last for a while, so be sure to come check us and our old Punk-friends out!
In other news: We'll be played on radiostation KinkFM (http://www.kinkfm.com/luisteronline) this Friday somewhere between 19.00 and 20.00 hours. Be sure to check us out, and vote for us at this website: http://www.kinkfm.com/2minutenshow/ Please help us out because if we get enough votes, we'll be playing Paradiso, Amsterdam this year!
